What I do
Workshops
Two to three hours, hands-on. Very few slides. Loads of practice.
A working session, not a lecture. Participants bring their own live board challenges and leave with something they can apply at their next meeting.
The format has been refined with peer organizations and founder communities: a short framing, then straight into real cases, small-group work, role play and open discussion. The agenda bends around what is actually happening in the room.
Workshops run for chapters of peer organizations such as EO, YPO and Vistage, for founder and CEO groups, investor portfolios, family business networks, and individual boards that want to work on themselves.
How the session runs
-
Opening — a brief overview
Just enough framing on what makes a board work, then we move. This isn't a lecture.
-
Case studies — real boardrooms, real stakes
Stories drawn from Marc's own 200+ board meetings as founder, investor and board member.
-
Open floor — your board struggles, on the table
Participants bring live board challenges; the session adapts to the room.
-
Practice — small groups, role play, plenary, debrief
Experiential learning participants can take straight back to their own boardrooms.
